Our Story

Meet Your Quilter!

I am a Christian, Wife, Mother, Granny, and Daughter. 

My husband and I have two grown boys, a daughter-in-law, and a Grandson and Granddaughter. 

I started quilting by hand in 1990 and was able to purchase my longarm (whose name is Claire) in 2020 and started my longarm business. 

I worked full time and ran my business for 5.5 years and then became totally self-employed October 2025.  I enjoy what I do so much it often doesn’t feel like work. 

Why Thirty 4 Stitches?  I named my business Thirty 4 Stiches to honor my husband. He has been so supportive of my dreams and has taught me to dream bigger than I would have ever imagined. He drove a dirt track race car (modified street class) and his number was 34, so I named it after his race car number.

I have a smoke free, pet free home and am excited to see what each of you create and discuss how the quilting can enhance your quilt.
